Job offer from Arianespace Service & Solutions

Arianespace society is looking for 2 electrical enfineers to work on launch operations at the Guiana Space Center in Kourou, French Guiana French and english good speaker.

As part of the launch team, reporting to the head of the "Digital Systems and Software" unit, you will take part in preparations for the launch of Ariane 5 (and in the near future for the two other launchers in the family, Soyu< and Vega), concerning electrical and command-control systems. In particular, your responsibilities will include:

• Writing procedures and preparing standard and special operational plans.
• Conducting final launcher preparations and launch operations.
• Overseeing feedback from activities during the launch campaign.
• Coordinating upgrades and managing changes in ground hardware and software.
• Ensuring vompliance with quality standards.

These two operational positions cover responsibilities ranging from basic tasks to leading a team during the launch campaigns.

These activities call on the following techniques:

• Onboard electronic systems;
• Transmission and processing of analog and digital data;
• Servo-controlled guidance and flight control systems;
• Digital communications systems.

Degree form an engineering school or equivalent French or European university, with good basic knowledge of telecommunications, electrical and automation engineering, electronics, applied IT and, if possible, aerospace systems.

Because Arianespace is an international business, you should be comfortable working in both French and English.

The job is based in Evry (greater Paris area), with long-term missions (or seconding) in French Guiana.
